Parents and their blood ties to us in this lifetime set the stage for the acts we are going to play in this lifetime.  In studying the mystical teachings of the ancient mystery schools and from the years of studying Numerology as well as personal knowledge, here are some thoughts for your consideration.  Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, you may want to think about them.  First of all, every lifetime or incarnation is specifically arranged or structured prior to arriving into the body.  What type of body you will use, what lessons you are to learn, what karmic corrections you will be making, the color of your hair, skin, what destiny you would strive towards, the personality you will use while you are here (what people will see and experience), what talents you will bring with you from prior lives and above all what life path or learning lesson will be the focus of this life are just some parts of the structure for your stay.  Along with these, we have time frames and individual cycles that operate within this structure.  It is pretty impressive and if people only recognized and worked with their programming, their lives would be much more successful and easier.  Alas, we mainly focus on the outside stuff and hardly the inside “stuff” where the workings are going on.  We operate, for the most part, out of fear and worry and guilt.  We push ever harder and ignore our original programming.  What a shame!

It is No  Accident

Along with this original planning came the choice of which Soul group we would be born into.  It is no accident that we landed with the parents we inherited.  Why would we do this?  Remember, we are made from intelligence, the Universal Intelligence, so we do know what we are doing prior to arrival.  We may not act very intelligently once we arrive and we may arrive with handicaps but we do know what we are doing.  The parents can come in a variety of forms, we can be adopted, arrive by a set of parents and be transferred to another set to be raised, we can be in a foster parent home, we can arrive and be abandoned or be raised in an orphanage or by our aunts, uncles or even strangers.  There are so many scenarios for the set up.  Nowadays our birth can be through invitro fertilization and we can then be raised by parents of the same sex or surrogate mothers–the list goes on.  Nothing is an accident here on the earth plane.  We just can’t explain why things happen so we call it an accident.  If you could follow the trail that can go back years or lifetimes, you will understand why the arrangement was made.

We Choose Carefully

Our parents are chosen very carefully for assistance with our life paths and destinies and karmic corrections.  Here are two examples.  Let us say that I am going to be born with a number one life path or learning lesson.  This would mean my lesson includes learning to stand on my own two feet, being innovative, taking the initiative, independent, being competitive, be courageous and unique.  This is the path of Steve Jobs.  If you have the one life path, which is a better beginning for you easy, soft parents who protect you or a more harsh environment, abandonment, adoption and a set of parents who encourage independence?  How about the person who is coming into a number five life path or learning lesson.  This is the lesson of change and adjustments.  Having to move quite a bit, adjusting to new environments, classmates, letting go and constructing a new life, living by your wits and to learn to make change constructively.  A good set of parents for this child would be a military family who moves around all the time or the child gets moved from foster home to foster home.  Perhaps the child who needs to learn compassion for the human condition will be born into a family where they are regularly marginalized as children–ignored but fed and clothed.  The child learns very early how people suffer and as an adult can be a wonderful source of comfort and understanding for those who suffer from diseases of the human condition, including mental disease and loneliness.

The Types of Arrangements are Endless

The types of arrangements are endless but they all have a reason.  Even the child born to addicted parents.  There is always more to the story than we realize.  Many times Souls are born to a set of parents who are quite unaware and not conscious of anything other than the basics of life.  This child can be the spark of knowledge and enlightenment for the parents and be much further advanced than the adults.

Remember roles change all the time.  Soul families change cast of characters according to what is needed at the time.  At one time an agreement was struck that you would join with these people as your parents to correct, learn, teach and grow.  Some of the experiences are very harsh, some wonderful, some loving and some not very loving.   Always remember to Bless and Release them to their highest and best good so that you all can move forward and finish up old issues.

Buildings and their addresses are critically important to us.   The addresses of where we live and work will impact our lives as long as we work or live at that address.  The numbers themselves set the stage for what you are walking into when you move into a building with these numbers.

personally.  The most beautiful home in the best location can turn out to a nightmare for you.  The best office space can be really good rent, with a great view but your business will not prosper there.  To feng shui a place is also very important but the biggest impact will be the house or office number.  When you are figuring out the address, total up all the numbers of the address of the house or the apartment unit.  Do not use the apartment building,  just the unit itself.  The same with the office building, you want the suite number of the office itself.  The general office or apartment building is important but it just sets a tone or the area, not the individual space.    Use letters as numbers–apt. 2B–the letter “b” is the 2nd letter in the alphabet so it is the number 2 as well.  If you live in apartment 2B, you live in a No. 4 apartment in Numerology.  Total the house number together and reduce it to a single digit.  For example 10508 Smith Street reduces to a 5 house.

Each House Number has it Own Personality

Each number has its own personality and energy.  A one number would be very entrepreneurial, independent, innovative, competitive, a starting number.  A number four would be disciplined, hard working, orderly, methodical, step by step, structured and productive–work will be the emphasis, frugality.  The number five would be lively, great place for a home business, always changing, heavy emphasis on people coming and going, always experiences of lots of change.  Not necessarily peaceful but lively.  The number seven property is your quiet, cerebral place, good for retreats and to get away, hide from the public.  This is the house that is good for reflection, developing your inner self, focus on developing of your inner faith–sometimes testing it, not an entertaining house.  People are invited in versus dropping over.  This is a good house for recovery.  Not at all good for business.

The interesting thing about numbers, we all have blueprints created prior to our births.  For the most part most of us don’t know they exist.  Within these blueprints are time passages which change every 9 nears.  As these change, they directly affect our behavior and our thinking.  For example, if i am about to enter a passage under the number seven, I would have an unconscious tendency to locate and move into a 7 house or apartment unit.  Gradually as I live in this space, my life changes to quieting down, business slows, I see or need to see less people and I begin to live a more inward prosperous vs an outward prosperous life.  The focus is less on business and more on rest and study of the self.

If the same person moving into that 7 house, has a high powered, time consuming job, the person might find herself less and less productive and more tired or choosing to get home and just chill.  During that 9 year period, the social life quiets down and the person could complain that I just don’t meet anyone any more or words to that effect.

Karma and Your House or Office

correct with the issues revolving around the number of the house, the karma will be activated while living in that house.  This is very common.  For instance, if a person is missing the number four in their chart, the number of hard work and productivity, bingo, the person finds herself just working all the time, working on the housing, working on the weekends etc.  Hardly any time to play and always having to be frugal with money, time and energy.    Missing numbers in a name always signify past life issues that the person is working on in this lifetime.  The house or office number will intensify these issues.

I always ask my clients the address of their house and office when I do a private session with them.  I need to know the environment they are living in and how it is impacting their lives.  Based on the several issues in their charts, many times I have to suggest strongly that they move out of the place they are living in and I also recommend the best address numbers for their individual blueprint.

us from prospering.  For all of us, I would avoid the pure numbers of 13, 14, 16, and 19 as address numbers.  That means if these numbers are stand alone, such as Apt. 19) and not part of a larger number like 1932, avoid them.  They are karmic “debt” numbers and you do not want them as your address.  That is a another story in itself.  Just walk away.  Each means something unique and you do not need it.

IS IT SAFE?

Today, we have signs of potential danger from nature and its various species, frogs, bees and human blood cells.  I like to follow trails and the clues left on them to see what is coming up for the current “miners” working in our daily lives.    In the last few years we have received scientific reports of frog mutations and mysterious deaths of the honey bee.  Since we cannot survive very long without the honey bee pollinating our crops, I thought you might be interested in the following announcements that have made their way quietly to the media and in scientific journals.

Purdue University scientists may have identified one of the sources of deaths of the honey bee.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR BEES?

“Analyses of dead bees is showing the presence of neonicotinoid insecticides which are commonly used to coat corn and soybean seeds before planting.  The research is showing that those insecticides were present at high concentration in waste talc that is exhausted from farm machinery during planting.”

The “Atlantic”, January 9, 2012, is reporting that there is a real danger of genetically modified foods.

Chinese researchers have found small pieces of ribonucleic acid (RNA) in the blood and organs of humans who eat rice.  Just about all of us eat rice.  This report is put out by Nanjing University and their team showed that this genetic material will bind to receptors in human liver cells and influence the uptake of cholesterol from the blood.  The type of RNA is called microRNA (or miRNA) due to its tiny size.  These miRNA’s were discovered about 10 years ago and have been extensively studied.  They have been implicated in several human diseases–cancer, Alzheimer’s and diabetes.  They usually function by shutting down or turning down certain genes.   The Chinese research is the first in vivo example of ingested plant miRNA surviving digestion and influencing human cell function.  It could mean that when we eat these foods that have been genetically modified, we might be eating gene regulators along with our protein, vitamins etc.

Here is another gem from “Natural Society”-January 3, 2012–US to start ‘Trade Wars’ with nations opposed to Monsanto, GMO crops.   Natural Society is saying that the United States is threatening nations who oppose Monsanto’s genetically modified (GM) crops with ‘military-style’ trade wars.  This information was obtained and released by WikiLeaks.  Basically WikiLeaks information reveals how deep Monsanto’s roots have penatrated key positions with the US government.  Supposedly, WikiLeaks is stating that many US diplomats work directly for Monsanto.  The WikiLeaks cable reveals that in late 2007, the United States ambassador to France and business partner to George W. Bush, Craig Stapleton, requested that the European Union along with particular nations that did not support GMO crops be penalized.  Nations like France that has moved to ban one of Monsanto’s GM corn varieties, was requested to be ‘penalized’ by the US for opposing Monsanto and genetically modified foods.

This a trend that needs watching so that we can live healthy, long lives.

PERSONAL YEAR

It begins in January, however, the old energy from the previous year can linger for several months with the new Personal Year.  Those born later in the year feel its effect later in the year.  It is normal for years to overlap.  The first two months of each year always clean up energy of the old year.  Things do not move out much before March.

1) Personal Year—This is a year of new beginnings, planting new seeds, making new contacts, going out and networking.  Don’t sit home and wait.  Develop a plan for what you want in the next nine years and start working on it.  This is a powerful year for what you plant will have a great affect on the eight years to follow.  It is a time to make those changes you have been thinking about.  Move, change jobs, focus on your birthing of new ideas.  Relationships should stay in the background until next year as you focus on what you need to do.  Stay busy, explore.  Be independent.   Be brave.

2) Personal Year—After a busy year, this year you are entitled to some peace and quiet.  The seeds you planted last year are growing.  Now is the time to study and gain the knowledge that will help you with the plans you started last year.  Patience is called for this year.  Much tact, diplomacy and compromising is asked of you.  Attend to details be calm.  Companionship will be very important to you this year.  You will not want to be alone and it is a good time to establish some type of union in your relationships or a very important new relationship.

3) Personal Year—This is a year when you will expand upon the things you have started two years ago.   You will change your appearance, be more social, entertain many people and enjoy yourself.  Be active and keep things on the light side.  Short vacations are highlighted.  Don’t lose sight of your goals but be primarily concerned with focusing your creative gifts this year.  Creativity will be increased and you may find yourself being more artistic and expressive. It can be a more enjoyable year.  Watch your weight.  Since things can expand, so can your body.  It is an okay year to move.

4) Personal Year—After a year of fun, now you roll up your sleeves and get back to work.  This is your year to be productive and organized.  No goofing off.  Even if you feel stuck and overworked, keep disciplined and don’t quit or leave your job unless you have something better to go to.  The more effort you give the more will be your reward.  Look over your plans again and correct errors in them.  Solve problems now.  You are building for the future.  Work and productivity are your focus.  Be orderly, methodical and structured.  Not the best year to move unless you have a fabulous job waiting and an ironclad contract that pays you well if the situation changes.

5) Personal Year—Here comes your freedom year.  You have earned the right to vacation and and make changes.  Look over everything that needs change.  Is it the job, the relationship, the way you think?  Get out and experience life, seek change.  However, changes must be useful ones.  Look at your whole life style and make changes accordingly.  Don’t become too restless but make the changes now.  This directly affects your residency and often your job.  Be willing to get out of your rut and make constructive changes.  You may not have all the information you might normally receive to make a decision.  Take the risk.

6) Personal Year—This is the home and family year.  Your emphasis is in these two areas.  Make them the center of your life now.  You will have more responsibility with them and you must guard against feeling overburdened.  Finish whatever you start.  No half-baked loaves of bread.  Plan time for the family and things that need to be done in the home.  There may be an adjustment in the home such as an addition of a new family member or someone goes off to college, marriage or divorce.  You will be needed and feel loved.  It can wear you out if you say “yes” to too many requests.  The community service work is also emphasized now.  Watch your energy.

7) Personal Year—This is an inner year, time to get in touch with yourself.  Not a socially active year nor is it a time to push for things in the material world.   Wait for those next year.  An excellent year for you to reflect upon the past six years and evaluate what you want to keep in your life, what changes you need to make and put closure on some things.  Take time to be alone, especially in nature and to keep your own counsel.  You might want to take some higher education classes this year.  Go to a spa, it’s a year of quiet.  If you push business too much, you will wear yourself out and be disappointed at the end of the year with what you did not accomplish.  This is a year of investing time in yourself.  Restore yourself and spend time alone.

8 ) Personal Year—This is your big business year.  Concentrate on going after what you want.  Ask for that promotion, raise etc.  Call the client you have always wanted to get.  Don’t take “no” for an answer.  Keep at it.  Be forceful and determined.  Tend to the details of work and money.  Be very efficient.  This is the year of rewards.  You must have the nerve to ask for what you want.  Your ship is in, so don’t be at the airport.  Harvest!

9) Personal Year—Time to clean up and clear out.  Let’s get rid of things in your life that no longer should be there.  Is it a marriage that needs to finally end.  A job that has long outlived its’ usefulness or a house that needs to be sold?  You will feel that many things are coming to an end.  Some people will move out of your life.  Be patient.  You are getting everything in order.  Remember, that also includes cleaning out your closets.  This is not a year of new beginnings.  If possible do not start new businesses, jobs, relationships etc. now.  It is a year of endings, not beginnings.  Travel overseas if you can and do some type of charitable work this year.  You are going on to new and better things next year.  Clean up your life, including your debts, and avoid depression by helping others in need.  Do not buy a new house, car etc. in a 9 year.–That goes for new relationships.  It is not the year for it.

In reading and hearing about this lack of courage to do the right thing, it brings us back to a famous quote by Jesus in Matthew 7:15  “beware of false prophets”.  Wasn’t this a warning to us to pay attention?  We will experience many false prophets in our lifetime.  It is up to us to recognize them and to not follow them (or give them money).

Our media is really on a tear exposing many people and circumstances as being false prophets.  With our current challenging transits you can expect more and more of these experiences.  Is it our culture?  Why do we look outside and say “Oh my”.  Wasn’t it us who followed, or went along or looked the other way? Isn’t it us who helps create these false prophets and perpetuate the lie?  We do not like it when we learn of character failings of our prophets.  We argue for their righteousness.  We even die for them.

Case in Point–The Sweat Lodge to Die For

Case in point the arrest, conviction and soon to be sentencing of motivational guru James Arthur Ray.  He was a successful motivational speaker and bookseller.  He appeared on top talk and TV shows including Larry King and he was a guest speaker in the film “The Secret”.  His 5 day workshop including the deadly sweat lodge experience cost almost $10,000.  They still followed him and probably put it on a credit card.  Three of them died.  You know what, we are still doing it.  I hear from many that they can’t afford their home payments or are out of a job but yet will still go off to an expensive workshop or trip that will offer them pablum and quick fixes and feel good experiences with another “false prophet”.

Does anybody look at the background of these institutions and individuals?  Does anyone question why they are doing it?  Watch the news and you will see individuals weeping and idolizing over politicians (the night of Obama’s election), movie stars, sports stars, spiritual leaders and others.  We want to believe they are really outstanding and upstanding without doing our own homework as to who these individuals and institutions really are.  The cult of celebrity in America has created superficial and fickle behavior.   We seem to take little time to question what we read or hear and become defensive and cynical when the truth is delivered.  It was us all along.  It is us who support these false prophets.

I am sure today there are many who will defend Coach Paterno even though he supposedly never followed through on the opportunity to make sure the sexual abuse of young boys was stopped.  People want so strongly to believe someone or something outside of themselves has the answer or knows how to do “it” well.  People will continuously send checks to those who can dazzle them with possibilities or scare them into turning over part of their savings.  It is done all the time in religious orders and cults.  I am amazed at what individuals will deliver to a “guru” even though the donors can barely get by on what they earn.

Remember Jones Town

If anything this current scandal has taught us is that  we have human failings–including all of the gurus and priests.  More of these scandals will show up on our doorstops.  The expectation is that we will learn from these experiences and instead of being offended and shocked be reminded that we continuously face false prophets.  Our need to be discerning is ever more important.  Do not buy the “cover” of the person.  Look deeper and learn what or who is behind the cover.  It was also said “it is done unto you as you believe”.  Believe in yourself and the power behind you and in you not the power outside of you.  And, above all, use your God-given intelligence to guide you.

Native American Heritage

Meet Ernie

After a dry landscape drive from Flagstaff, we arrived on the reservation at Ernie’s home and gallery.  I say gallery lightly.  It was really a trailer with a nondescript side building or trailer for storage.  There were a few stray dogs and sagging wooden stairs into the “gallery”.  Ernie was to be my guide for the rest of the afternoon.  He is a tall, welcoming man, hefty in size and quite commanding.  I found out he had been a bounty hunter for 15 years–a bounty hunter who never used or carried a gun.  He met with the “client” and literally talked them into turning themselves in.   It was either go with Ernie peacefully, who would try and mediate on your behalf, or wait for the police for a pretty basic unpleasant solution.  Ernie has a way about him.  You will definitely listen and reason with yourself.

Hopi Beliefs Through Ernie

In this barren, inhospitable terrain, this is what I learned listening to Ernie.  First off, the Hopi are a very peaceful tribe.  They do not allow any casinos on their reservation.  You cannot take a photo of anything, nor can you take away anything from the land (such as a rock or pebble).  You cannot see their petroglyphs or prophesy rock without an Indian escort.  Actually you cannot drive around on the reservation without being observed and perhaps followed.  The reservation police drive around in unmarked pick up trucks and have very watchful eyes.

The Hopi believe that we own nothing.  Everything belongs to Mother Earth and it is foolish to hoard cars, houses, stuff.  It is wiser to hoard seeds so that you can feed yourself in hard times.  If you pick up a broken piece of ancient pottery which is very prevalent, you must leave it on a rock called “payback” rock.  You cannot take anything from Mother Earth without giving back to her.    Ernie went on to say that he makes investments but they are investments in other people’s abilities.  For example, he helps artists make and paint the Kachina dolls.  Some of these artists are novices.  Rather than correct and discourage, he buys their first pieces and tells them that “he knows one day they will be very good and expensive and that he must buy it now before they become too expensive to purchase.”  In this positive way, the budding artists develop faith in themselves.  It is always about encouraging independence in the individual.  Ernie went on to say that you must “become something before you can do something”.

In this barren land Ernie pointed out all the large clam shells that have become fossils.  He pointed out the scrubby bush whose tiny leaves, when placed in water, make a wonderful shampoo.  Another bush had aphrodisiac qualities and that they would place its branches in the watering hole for the horses of the soldiers so that they would not be able to follow them.  The petroglyphs were inspiring.  They tell the Hopi tale of what was and what is to come.  They even have carvings of space visitors.  These barren lands are rich in history and sacred story.  After awhile you become very quiet as you know you have entered a very special space in time.  You have entered another world.

Experience it Yourself

For those of you who might want to experience the Hopi Reservation more entirely, contact me and I will put you in touch with Ernie.  You will be changed.  The reservation is very poor.  They have a water problem and carry their water in 5 gallon containers.  Many of the homes have dirt floors.  They are very clean and very well decorated inside.  The dogs are free to roam at night and hunt.   They return in the day to their homes.  I arrived at a place where an American is helping them dig a water well.  I was greeted with at least 6 dogs who were friendly and indifferent.

Ernie has three empty houses out on the reservation where people can stay.  Of course, you will have to live off the land for your food and water.  There is no electricity or running water in these three houses.  For those who want to come and meet themselves in the magical space called “the beginning”, I encourage a visit with Ernie.

Incidentally, I picked out and purchased a Kachina doll.  I asked Ernie the meaning of the Kachina that I chose.  He told me it was the Female Sun who lives in the house that holds the sun.  She is there at sunrise and sunset and peaks over the mountain to shine on everything she touches.  She brings morning light–first light and brings light to all.  Through shining this light, she helps others gain independence.

Nobody spoke during the drive back to Flagstaff.  There  was much to process.

View from the Top

Each of us is born with a certain blueprint that we create prior to a particular incarnation.   This blueprint plays itself out during that lifetime.  When one individual has a large impact on the world’s population, we might wonder what was in that person’s plan.  How did it play out?  What characteristics were put in place for this individual Soul to work with?  What made this particular individual such an innovator?  How did all the magic come together?

Soul in point, Steven Paul Jobs, born February 24th, 1955.  Entered under the sign of Pisces and departed under the sign of Libra.  Departed during his 8th Soul cycle, in his 3rd Personal Year.  What the heck does all that mean?  Let’s take a look.

Steve Jobs’ beginning was somewhat unusual in that he was born to one set of parents but delivered to another–all by agreement of the parties involved, including Steve.  His chart shows that he would be let down, abandoned, betrayed right from the get go.  In this case, his birth parents arranged for him to be adopted.  In his unconscious memory, the betrayal will be on the father’s side.  This would set up a life long pattern in his behavior of a lack of trust or the inability to lean on others.  Sometimes both.  The test of the individual with this type of condition would be a need to develop trust in others and in the unseen power that is the creator of all things.  It would take awhile for him to trust you and a lifelong learning of the ability to lean on others.  He would rather do it himself or find out about it himself.

His Karmic Numbers

Steve is missing two numbers in his name, the number 8 and the number 9.  The number 8 has to do with power, authority and the correct use of one’s resources.  Because it is missing from the name, he created his own personality under this number.  That means his personality would appear to be the boss, in command, the need to run everything.  There is no way he would let go of power.  As a child, he might be seen as a stubborn know-it-all who would see advice as criticism.  That is usually outgrown as the person matures.  The fact of the matter is since it is a missing number, he had to learn how to use power wisely, how to be the benevolent leader, how to see the many faces of power and authority.  In this lifetime, he could really never work for anyone else.

On top of his Personality number being the Number 8 (big business), his Life Path and Destiny numbers are both the same, the Number one.  The Life Path is the sum total of his date of birth, reduced to a single number.  The Destiny number is the total of all the numbers in his birth name.  In this Life Time the Number one is the driver of Steve.  Number one speaks for itself.  It is the innovator, the pioneer, the courageous one, the pathfinder, the modifier, the bold and the new.  Number one energy is powerful.  It is constantly creating.  It innovates.  It needs to be Number one.  It sets up bold ideas, tries the impossible and creates something new for us to follow.   This individual could never be happy in a supportive role or a secondary role.   The Number one is a very competitive number.  It needs healthy outlets where it can compete–even if it just a tennis game.  The game of creating new features, better features can be a competitive sport.  It does not drain a person as much as it feeds it with more ideas and possibilities.  It cannot live a life looking over its shoulder and will not listen to the “should’s” of others.  Example being, you should do this or you should do that.

Steve was also born on the 24th day of the month.  This helped make him quite family-oriented.  It could also make him very responsible–especially for the family.  It also would make him quite sensitive and melodramatic with a tendency to perhaps embelish emotional issues.  He did not take criticism very well.  Being born on the 24th gave him an appreciation of the arts and gifted him with the ability to act.  Being as intuitive as he was, he had a latent ability as a healer.  Quite a combination.  There is no doubt that he was a faithful friend.  The fortunate part of Steve’s chart was his ability to attract helpful people who were also practical.  These people were able to advance his ideas.

The Light Worker

One of the fascinating things about Steve was what was really deep in his heart or where was he coming from.  The vowels of a person’s name are the indicators of recent past lives and what deeply motivates a person.  Much of this is unseen by others and only those intimately involved with Steve would really know.  Deep in his heart of hearts, Steve was the Light Worker.  He carried the Master Number 11, the worker of the light, filled with inspiration and the ability to channel.  If I take the world “light” and total its numbers, (for instance  the letter “L” is a 12, “i” is a 9 etc) I would total and reduce the number to 11.  Steve was filled with light.  This is the place he would draw upon for inspiration and designs.  Many well known artists, musicians, designers and peace keepers carry this Soul number.   These Souls will channel in any work they do.  It is common to see a strong light within them, usually we recognize this in their eyes.  They have a certain light about them.

Because of this prominent 11, Steve would best be served by associating with people who were awake and aware.  It is not surprising that early in life he would want to escape the general roar of the crowd and go off and try alternative states of consciousness.  There is a very Neptunian influence in this chart so he was not only the innovator but also the dreamer.  He could literally channel words, ideas and was extremely psychic and intuitive.  Definitely he was a very different leader.  He could not possibly go with the beat of another drummer.

The Number nine is missing in this blueprint.  That brings up the whole area of compassion.  Steve’s karma included the need to learn to be more compassionate and tolerant.  He would be put in situations where he would have to identify with someone else’s  sufferings and trials.  Steve was forced through circumstance to broaden his view of life and to not hold back on helping others.  He would be put under stressful situations through job, marital and health issues so that the heart can be opened at the center.  These conditions would give him the chance to understand and sympathize with the sufferings that go on in peoples’ lives.  There is no doubt being let go by Apple, the company he founded, was a humbling experience for him.  It also bounced him right back to the early condition of trust and betrayal.   It taught him much about the human condition as did the years living with cancer.

The Soul Cycle

The fact that Steve left the earth during his 8th Soul cycle is not surprising.  Soul cycles occur every 7th birthday starting at age 7.  They last one year.  During that time frame, the Soul has more power over the Personality.  It is during these Soul cycles that the Soul downloads everything it learned over the last 7 years and moves to a higher state of awareness and consciousness.  When the Soul is ready to depart this earthly incarnation, it will take with it everything it learned, nothing more.  Soul cycle years are extremely important.   During these birthdays we reflect and see what we have done, learned and want to change.

Steve was very, very tired in his chart.  This was only going to increase in 2012.  He would be forced to work much harder in 2012 and by the end of 2012 he would begin a change in identity.  The last 18 months have been very hard on him and really wore him out.  The year ahead would be more intense.  In actuality, something he has started, may it be a foundation or institution that will last for years will be an even bigger legacy over time.    Two years ago he entered a time as the master builder, where an archetype in the unseen world, began to be built over time here on the earth plane.

Watch and see, the seed has already been planted.  By his leaving it can now grow.  It is much bigger than an iPod or iPhone.   The Soul knows exactly what it is doing.  The Personality is an instrument or costume to be used while here and then discarded.   If we can be patient and watch the unfolding of his afterlife gift, we will be very pleased and will have a greater understanding of why he chose to leave,  how he did and when he did.

96% Employment of College Grads

Read it yourself in the August 29th issue of Barron’s (page 5).  For those with only a high school education but no graduation,  it is 14%.    How well do these statistics cover the stopped looking, under employed, working two jobs?  Those figure bring the numbers up some more.

Let’s just look at that 4% figure.  What if you who are now unemployed with a college degree decide to focus on the fact that 96% of you are working?  Does this create an attitude shift?  It can.  It is all in the eyes of the beholder.  I am not saying you are in the perfect job or having the best experience through your working environment.  You are, however, if you are working, in the flow.  The $8.50/hour job can bring you to the $20/hour job to the $100/hour job.  It is all about perspective.  Stop looking for perfection, take the job, do the best you can, get along with people and live beneath your means for the time being.  Everything is subject to change.

Short Sale to a longer life

I have several clients who have short sold their homes, are regrouping themselves, ruining their credit for a few years and have a 3 year plan to turn things around.  Is it easy, definitely not, but is it efficient and necessary, probably so.    I have heard of another person in the Bay area of No. California whose retail business deteriorated.  He was forced to sell their castle mansion in a short sale.  They did and very shortly thereafter was able to purchase in a wealthy enclave in the Silicon Valley area a lovely foreclosed townhouse.  Downsizing is relative.   Because the new area has better schools, the children are as happy as clams in  tight shells.

Trend

The month we just passed through, August, was just a bear of a month.  It pretty much drained people.  Things have moved ahead this week and should continue to chug along during the next few weeks.  It is as if the hurricane blew and washed away lots of negativity.  Mother Earth does clean get rid of the negativity here by fires, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes and tsunamis.

Negativity comes in so many forms but there is a simple way for you to get rid of much of it.  Manage yourself.  You cannot manage much else.  Stop listening to scary, nutty broadcasts–Kramer, Russ, Hannity, Chris, and the rest of mainstream talking heads.  They don’t know but they do get paid by being loud, repetitive and sensational.  On a personal level become more organized, efficient and economical.  This drumbeat of Organized, Efficient and Economical is Essential over the next 3 years.  Essential.

Stay Focused

Regarding all the presidential hoopla, stay above the theater as you focus on your own employment and plan.  Leave the candidates to their performances.  At this point all of it is pandering.  The Republicans will duke it out and forget who they work for, the democrats will try to hang on to what they think is their base.  We’ll get more serious about it in January.

In the meantime, manage the anxiety and fear.  You will eventually be put into a position to influence the government but it is not your first priority.  Now is the time to really  get your own plan together for a new identity in line with your new circumstances.  You can do it.  Do not allow yourself to be diverted from your good by the negativity of the news.  Did you know that Tiffany’s is having an excellent year and its revenue and earnings jumped more than 30% in its quarter ending July 31st?  How about the hotel industry?  The hotel industry booked more hotel rooms in June and July than in any other time.  There is a limited supply of new hotel rooms entering the market and the folks staying at the hotels are generally college-educated–higher employed customers.

If a door or doors have closed to you, find other doors, perhaps in other towns or countries.  Think outside the box and be brave, courageous and young at heart.  Lower your resistance to starting over and get rid of the people, places, jobs, clothes, hairstyles and handbags that promote lack, scarcity, poor, incompetency and just look bad.

Do you remember the movie  several years back, “The King of Hearts”,  where the inmates escape from their cells and take over the mental hospital?  It was a premise with a psychological twist.  They actually could run it better than the guards.  Do we need to take over?  Are we the inmates?  Or as Lady Astor supposedly said at her death bed with all the people standing around–”Am I dying or is this my birthday?”

Am I Dying or Is 'This My Birthday?

Is the world system dying or are we about to celebrate a birthday?  From the looks of the headlines, facts and figures, it doesn’t look like a birthday party.  Death of an old way of doing things is more like it.  We seem to forget that a financial system put in place as early as 1913 with the start of the Federal Reserve is about to be undone and replaced.  To what, nobody knows.  This recent breakdown that began in ’08 continues on until 2024 when a new financial system is in place.  The changes in taxation, relaxation of regulations and borrowing are on center stage.  Our fearless leaders are on vacation, drinking at the water cooler or picking each others’ lice and fleas.  Above all else, they make sure we keep paying them and taking care of their retirement years as well.

If I Agreed With You, We Would Both Be Wrong

They keep focusing on the “deficit” while Rome burns up our houses, jobs and quality of life.  We should give them all fiddles and let them play.  The foundation of the system is rotten underneath the system.   Case in point, in the Los Angels Daily New report of  August 14th, regarding Assembly Bill 350 by Jose Solorio, D-Santa Ana.  This new bill would amend the Displaced Janitor Opportunity Act which was signed into law in 2001.  It would expand coverage from janitors and building maintenance workers to include window washers, landscape workers, licensed security and cafeteria and dietary service employees.

For all of these categories of workers, AB 350 would require than whenever a building owner awards a new company a contract to provide services to that building, the new contractor “must” hire the previous contractor’s employees.  The new contractor would have to keep the former contractor’s employees for a minimum of 90 days (rather than the current 60 days that the current janitor contract requires).

Yep, that’s correct.  If I am the owner of the builder and I want a new contractor to provide services to my building, perhaps at a more competitive price or higher quality service, I have to keep the previous employees for 3 months?  What is wrong with this picture?  How does this make sense?  The Daily News goes on to say that this bill is backed by a number of unions and is a “default way of keeping a unionized shop in existence even when an employer–in this case, the service contractor–exits a site.”  This is a small matter in our “sputtering” economy but it is an example of what we all face in trying to correct the “ship of state”.  And we wonder why companies are leaving California.

Slipping and a Sliding

Government workers spiking pensions is another gem of manipulation by public employees, especially managers.  No one wishes ill will of government retirees pensions that were earned when employed by the government.  The manipulation, however, by these workers, especially in management as to how to calculate these pensions is endemic in the system.  Many tricks are used to boost one’s pension.

“An employee, who retired from the position of “acting assistant manager” whose salary averaged $120,000 a year but who retired with an annual pension of $200,000.  He held the position of acting assistant manager for just one year.  In fact, all administrative level employees in that agency get promoted to acting assistant manager the year they PLAN TO RETIRE, giving them a huge boost in pay that will then be their final year’s base salary for pension calculation purposes.

During the years of his employment, although he was not paid by the hour, this employee used CTO (compensatory time off for ‘overtime’ worked) in lieu of vacation and sick leave, so that he could accumulate years of  ‘unused’ vacation and sick leave.  Then, in the year he retired, he cashed it all in, further boosting his final year’s compensation.  This employee was provided  a car until the year he retired, at which point he elected a car allowance instead, increasing his final year’s compensation even more.

Eight years earlier, just before a promotion became effective, this employee purchased 10 years of (already discounted) extra service credits at the actuarial price for someone holding his old, lower paying, position.  Now it appears on the books as though he worked 30 years, instead of the 20 he actually worked, boosting his pension another 50%.”

Where is Accountability?

Heard enough?  There is more.  If you are wondering how and where your money is used, you need to get involved or  at least get interested.  California needs to deliver better value to its taxpayers.  We have the 2nd highest unemployment in the nation. (Nevada is first)  Wow, aren’t we special???  Since California is usually a trend for the United States, this type of behavior of government malfeasance could be or already is at your door step.  Pay attention, expect resistance by entrenched interests.  They will fight in court to prevent disclosure.  All government pensions are a matter of public record.  Know how your tax dollars are spent not only in pensions but also in perks, duplicate departments and the complacency that accompanies protected employment.   In Los Angeles, we have the highest paid city council members in the nations, the mayor alone has 207 assistants and has gotten a variance to change the wall around the mayor’s mansion to be higher than permitted in the tony neighborhood.  Walled in is a great metaphor.

Get the keys and unlock the cells, the inmates are coming out.–or as P.T. Barnum (American Entrepreneur/Ringling Bros.  Barnum & Bailey Circus) said on his death bed in 1891, “How were the receipts today at Madison Square Garden?”
