Numbers and Your Body Parts

Several years ago I was at the doctor being treated for the same old case of bronchitis.  It seemed to get better, go away and

Spring is coming! Time to respect your body.

Spring is coming! Time to respect your body.

within a few months would come back.  I even went so far as to get pneumonia.  One day my wise doctor said to me, “you know Gail, you might want to pretend you have a fine racing horse.  You rode this horse uphill and down dale.  You went far and fast because it was such a fine horse you just kept riding it.  One day the horse had had enough and threw you, the rider, off”

On that happy metaphor, I stopped taking my body for granted.  Believe it or not, I rarely ever get a cold, never get the flu and always wear a scarf when it isn’t summer.  How much do you take your body for granted?  Do you think it will just put up with your lack of rest, erratic nutritional habits, addictive behaviors and excessive amounts of movements (marathons) or little movements (couch potatoes).  Our bodies are like fine racing cars, horses and violins.  All three of these items must be carefully groomed, respected and well taken care of  or they will make your life hell.  We act stunned when our horse throws us off (diabetes, heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue etc.)

Common sense rules the day and always has.  But another sense rules the day as well and that is your body part number.  Each of us has a life path that is planned by your date of birth.  While we are taking good care of our bodies, it helps to know which area of your body needs your attention as that area is more sensitive.  You can figure out your life path by adding up your full date of birth and reducing it to a single digit.

Here are the 9 life path numbers and their corresponding body parts:

No. 1–Head and lungs.  Watch for injuries to the head as you move forward and remember to breathe deeply as you move ahead.

No. 2–Nervous system and solar plexus.  Eat foods that build up the nervous system–lots of minerals

No. 3–Throat, tongue, larynx and speech organs.  Protect this area of the body.

No. 4–Structure of the body, bones and teeth.  Cultivate flexibility and remember that stubbornness can bring on a lack of circulation

No. 5–The digestive tract, liver, gallbladder, stomach and pancreas.  Problems with digesting all of life that they take in

No. 6–The heart area.  This part of the body needs to feed itself with love.  A lack of love or too strong a need for love can create heart problems.  “Feeding the hungry heart”

No. 7–The deeper parts of the body–the glands, in particular the spleen where the white blood cells are affected.  There is a need for quiet relaxation

No. 8–Parts of the body that are affected by ambition.  A few of these are the bowels and colon, high blood pressure, eyes (eyestrain) and migraine headaches

No. 9–The regenerative system as well as the kidneys

Always treat your body with great respect.  If it is not working well, you will not be able to stay here, or worse, you might stay here and be trapped in a body that becomes your prison.

Excellent analogy about a horse throwing one off for lack of attention. I call it the STOP NOW plan and if we don’t take care of our own well being, we may find ourselves with health challenges.
