America the Sacred–Happy Birthday - Jun 30, 2016

There is much that has been forgotten about the birth of this special and great nation called the United States of America. As we look at today’s political arena with the questionable candidates, we wonder how and why we have stayed so far away from the original principles and intentions of its birth. Who among these candidates including Federal, State and local would pledge their lives and fortunes for the good of the nation. One way to clean up politics would be the necessity to sign a pledge similar to what the founders signed. When they signed, they knew death by hanging was a distinct possibility if the cause was lost.

She has been groomed for years. Any woman in a rising power position, unless she is Mother Theresa, will create controversy. It just seems to get more weird, volatile and crazy. One of the best things you can do right now is to keep your center, understand that all around you does come to pass away. Also, try to get to bed earlier to handle the stress better. The dial has been ratchet up and it will stay that way for some time. With the shooting in Orlando, the uncertainty of the elections and uncertainty in general, it is sometimes hard to find the humor in it all.

Prince’s Death Revisited - Jun 3, 2016

I wasn’t surprised to learn of the cause of Prince’s death from fentanyl use. I don’t think many others were surprised either.

We have had a series of early deaths of our celebrities from accidental drug overdose. In general, we have a history of accidental deaths from drug overdoses in America. It has been going on a long time. My uncle, a surgeon in Manhattan, died from an accidental drug overdose with sleeping pills and a cocktail. Our country, being a number 5 country, is very prone to excess in matters of the senses, drugs, food, sex and the routine list of addictions.
