It may seem strange and totally disconnected but the invisible system of order and 
dependability always is in control. We may not see any connection to the rise in selfies or the rise in the use and sale of makeup or the rise in “Face”book but they are connected. Soon to be connected will be the changes to our financial systems and all the dots that can be connected in this area beginning the summer of 2018. That trend will completely upend our financial and banking system over a period of seven years.
Just as we don’t see the financial and banking system going through big changes, we didn’t see the rise in the current trends we have been living with over the last seven years.
Trends come in gradually until they become a way of life and we forget we never lived without them. This should be a reminder to all of us that everything is evolving and changing even when we don’t see it coming. There are many big movements ahead but it is like a holiday gift, you can’t open it until the right date. When you do, the gift takes on its own life.
If we look back to 2011 when the planet Uranus cycled in Aries (and still is) we saw a big rise in self-promotion, self-interest, image, name, reputation and me, me. The sign of Aries rules self-promotion. It’s as if we have been on a self-promotion binge for the last six almost seven years. Selfie-sticks, Instagram filters and the Face of Facebook ballooned. It has also shown us the dark side of self-promotion and a dissatisfaction of “Me”. We even photo what we eat. We even elected a president who thrives on self-promotion even down to promoting his steaks, buildings, clothes, wines and, of course, his wall.
Another part of this current Uranus cycle in Aries is the enormous range of cosmetics now available through numerous outlets. There are various colors, shades, corrector etc. that have mushroomed the cosmetic boom into heaviness. As is true of any Uranus transit, it is never satisfied and it is always looking for some type of change. The part of the body that Aries rules is the head. We continuously take head shots and will plaster ourselves over social media with our photos and our makeup.
This trend will diminish as we enter a new phase of Uranus. It will enter the sign of Taurus next May and start a very disruptive journey through the banking world and how we look at our finances and our debts. You can expect many changes and some very unexpected. It’s intensity will be through 2020 but it continues on until 2025. Taurus deals with values and worth so you will see the price you have paid for your mortgage, credit card and financial bondage. You can expect global transformation in this area. You may start to realize how trapped you have been. The banking system will be turned on its head over this long seven year period. It definitely won’t be business as usual.
But in the meantime, try to remember you can make your plans and you can direct your plans but you cannot control them. These invisible transits do not operate alone. They have accompanying transits that can increase their power or weaken them. In this new Uranus in Taurus transit, it’s companion transits will strengthen it. You might say that Uranus in Taurus represents revolution and money. With the transit of Saturn in Capricorn and Pluto in Capricorn accompanying Uranus, the ride will affect those at the top of power. It rules people at the head of governments and business. Expect the unexpected and remember, just because you cannot see it or imagine it, it does happen.
As I have said before, fires, floods (hurricanes and swollen waterways as well as submerging of land) and earthquakes help Mother Nature get rid of negativity. The heavenly transits play their part in making sure this planet survives.
It is wise to know your own chart and how you personally will be affected by the winds of change.

I really appreciate the way you describe how Uranus in Taurus will be mitigated (somewhat) for the ordinary person since Pluto and Saturn will be in Capricorn together for the first 2 years. I have no idea what this means. Sometimes when signs change they would “leave” a sign but everything looks good for this Saturday. The outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are retrograde. Venus leaves Leo today and goes into Virgo today. Sorry I can’t help with this one. Constellations are important to study. They are talking about planets and constellations. Not clear.

I find it most interesting; Evangelical Christians posting on YouTube about the configurations with Leo the lion and Virgo the virgin. They quote the Bible to explain, “Jupiter has been in her womb for 9 months and will leave Virgo’s womb on the 23rd.” This is not “wicked astrology rather it is astronomy.” Sorry I did not copy the URL for you.

Thanks for your nice reply. Actually, it is better to look at the last time we had Uranus in Taurus (the same transit) with similar accompanying planets. That was the period 1934 through 1941 into early 1942. This was the age of Social Security and the Banking Act both in 1935 and the Monopoly game. It was also the recovery period of the great depression as we entered into war. There was austerity and rationing of war to follow. The years followed the Wall St. crash. It definitely called for austerity and upset the banking system. We are back again and Jupiter will be in Scorpio until November 2018 just as it was in 1935. Having Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn almost assures austerity and a top-down drudging. How it plays out we will watch and see but I would not call it a picnic time.

The last time Uranus changed signs, there was an atomic disaster in Japan (?) and the tsunami nobody saw coming, for sure. Taurus being an earth sign, I think sudden earth changes (read earthquakes) are in store. Security–or what people put their trust in for their security will certainly be challenged.
