I recently read an interesting comment regarding the Month of March. It may shed some light on how we emerge from the slumber and sluggishness of the last few months of winter. I read this, in of all place, "Muscle and Body" magazine. It is really intended for weight lifters-which I do very little of. "Up until 153 BC, ancient Romans celebrated the New Year on the first of MARCH. In Russia, the practice lasted well into the 15th century. Great Britain celebrated the start of the year on March 25 all the way until 1752."
...Now that's something different...It goes on to say, with words to the effect, that once spring came, people are quick to shed their clothing and develop lean muscle and lose the winter body fat Hear Hear!!!! Good time to begin the weight-loss program, body building time.

It also goes right along with a lighter feeling we should begin to feel about now, the 3rd month of the year. You should feel now as if the New Year has officially started not just with a hangover from a party the night before but with a feeling that I want to get going, plant the garden, plan the summer vacation and get serious about my goals for 2007.
This year we even get Daylight Savings time earlier on March 11th. Let's give a cheer for sensibility as well as saving electricity. And just think, most of us didn't own a watch two hundred years ago and we retired for the evening shortly after the sun went down.
Not today, we are a 24/7 lifestyle. At least we are in the American culture. And we pay the price for the frenetic pace we keep in the various elements of our society.

Now what brings this all up in relation to the No. 3 or third Month of March? This is the number of "Joy" month. The number 3 is the number of creativity, expression in all forms and downright fun. Go out and have a bunch of it. Get rid of the winter blahs (and extra 5 pounds), give yourself a liver detox (the liver naturally detoxing in the spring). You'll feel lighter and above all else -less angry. 3's in Numerology are the "uplifters". They have the capacity to make us feel better by their humor, playfulness and downright charm. While you are in the mood, lighten up and go spread some joy.

Having said all that, remember, Mercury is still retrograde until March 7th. Give it a few extra days after that for it to start moving again. If you can wait to sign or make major purchases until about the 13th, so much the better. Also remember we have two major eclipses this month, March 3rd, a lunar eclipse and March 18th a solar eclipse. Eclipses have long-lasting impact on an individual and will affect their chart depending on the house it falls in.

MONTHLY CANDIDATE PROFILE

I have received so many questions regarding the candidates running for the primary-as well as running into and over each other. I thought I would take the major candidates and give you a monthly profile on a featured candidate. I decided to begin with Barack Obama. So, here is more information on this latest candidate.

Full name at birth - Barack Hussein Obama
Date of birth-August 4, 1961

His life path is the same as Bill Clinton's, Al Gore, Ronald Reagan, Colin Powell, Madonna and other highly profiled celebrities. No doubt about it, this man has charisma. He is a Master Number, or known as the "light worker". Those who carry the 11 Master Number for their path are always inspirational and wonderful speakers-if they will allow themselves to be themselves. They are able to move audiences because the audience feels they are almost touched personally by the speaker. Pretty heavy stuff. He has a very good running chance just by having this Master Number as his life path.

11's are great negotiators, peacekeepers, compromisers and arbitrators. They can see both sides of most issues. Not only that, they seem to say things that have almost a Biblical quality to their speech. To top that off, he has a No. 1 personality and Destiny numbers. Not bad if you want to lead. He doesn't want to be told what to do, hates authority and will blaze his own trail.

Nice part about his chart, he is born on a 4 day which makes him a very hard worker. He loves work. It isn't a chore for him. Unlike our current president, who has no 4's in his chart and would rather skip work, Obama can work tirelessly.

Stubborn, the man is stubborn. That can be both negative and positive depending on the situation, but at least he has the power of his conviction.

This man is his own person. He loves the attention, especially what Hollywood gives him, but he is not a braggart. His Soul number showing past life experience, is the No. 9, or the humanitarian. He really comes from that point. He is not faking it. He lives on Chicago's South Side and has been involved in helping bring housing and justice to the poor. I believe that this work was sincere. It shows in past lives he devoted himself to serving humanity in some way and that part of his life is extremely important to him. By the way, so are the arts.

Negatives, not too many. He is missing the number 7 so he needs to be more discerning and not take things at face value. He has to look beyond the surface to get at the truth and ask questions. He could be a bit naive because of this. Also the No. 11, because it sees both sides of all issues, can make him a bit indecisive. Do you remember how "flip-flopping" Bill Clinton was when he first started his term of office? He finally got some good PR and you never heard much more about his "flip flopping". Obama has a similar problem. His chart is not necessary one for a business chart. I wouldn't put him in the corporate setting very much but he can be the diplomat and lead from that point. Gore, Reagan, Powell and Clinton really were not business leaders, they were all in some form actors and politicians. Even in war, we call the location for fighting as the "theater" (applying to Colin Powell).

He will definitely grow into the leadership role whether it is this election or a future one. I believe he will go far and if not this election then at another time, he could be the president. His Life Path number of the No. 11 (taken from his date of birth) is also the number of the word "light". Just total up the number for each letter and you will reduce it to the number 11. In other words, those who walk with an 11 Life Path are filled with light. They seem to channel other realms when they speak. Heady stuff.
