The 8th Month of the Year

The powerful number 8 is the number of manifestation. It is the number of divine power and is only one of two numbers, the other being the 0, that can be written over and over again without ending. This is the number of material wealth and power. You never want to be "behind the 8 ball".

What does that really mean, being behind the 8 ball? We have heard it spoken often but have no idea of its significance. Michael Schneider, in his wonderful book "A Beginner's Book to Constructing the Universe," states that the "black billiard ball numbered 'eight' is like the crossing point in the figure eight. It is the 'oddball' at the exact middle of the fifteen balls, with seven lower-number solid-color balls below and seven striped balls with higher numbers above. To be 'behind the eight ball' is to find oneself in the middle of a dilemma with (seven) elusive solutions on each side." This is not the month to be behind the 8 ball.

Although many of us are on vacations or finishing up the last free month before school begins again, this is not really the "resting" month. It is really the harvesting month. So, it is a very good time to see what "fruits" from your labors this year are still out there for you to pick. There may be many contacts not available due to vacation schedules but I would suggest you not vacation too long this month as much can be gained by harvesting while others are playing. Make business decisions this month. They can be improved upon this month. It is extremely favorable for business and finance and fine to make big business decisions this month.

Above all else it is a great month to work with the Laws of Manifestations. I recommend two books to help you along to do this. "Working with the Law" by Raymond Holliwell and "The Power of Decision" by Raymond Charles Barker. You can link directly to my website and connect to Amazon to buy them used. These are essential readings to help you work with the unseen laws to manifest what you want in all areas of your life. This is a wonderful month to practice manifesting during this powerful 8 period — Use the 8 energy wisely. It can be very helpful for you.

Signs of the Times. From the "New York Times", July 3, 2008

"The United Steelworkers signed a merger agreement on Wednesday with the largest labor organization in Britain and Ireland to create what union leaders said would be the world's first global union.

The new union to be called Workers United, will represent more than 2.8 million workers in the steel, paper, oil, health care and transportation industries. Officials said the union plans to hold trans-Atlantic negotiations with companies, including the oil conglomerate BP and ArcelorMittal, the giant steel maker. ...

"Our mission is to advance the interests of millions of workers throughout the world who are being shamefully exploited"..."The new union plans to set up operations in Colombia to help protect union members there from violence, in Liberia to aid rubber workers, and in India to help impoverished shipbuilding workers, officials said. ..."

As I say in my DVD, we are in a New World Renaissance. It is touching all countries of the world.

View from the Freeway

I have been travelling the highways and byways of California and Arizona this month. The increase in the price of gasoline has had a profound effect on the everyday lives of Americans. We in California pay the highest in the nation so we are really getting the message "drilled" home to conserve. The "watchword" for us all is to conserve. My recommendation for the next three years is to "live beneath your means and find ways to increase your income". Get creative.

We are in a downward trend in housing and the stock market. I don't see an upswing in housing until well after the option-arm loans are corrected and that doesn't even begin until 2009. By about 2010-2011 we should be finished with this accumulation of housing inventory. We now have a nationwide inventory of 11 months and growing. Until this stops growing, housing prices will continue to go lower and then go neutral. Remember, if you can live beneath your means and create extra income, you can weather this storm. If space permits, rent out the extra bedroom, start an internet business, cook at home, take your lunch, shop at Goodwill — although I hear their donations are way down.

We will come out of this but not before some really major changes take place in the way we conduct our government policies and our personal life styles. The time frame is being affected by several major long-term cycles. See my DVD or listen to my new CD on the trends.

Oil is an old energy of the Industrial Age and the former Piscean Age (fluid age). It doesn't belong in the Age of Aquarius (air energy). In order for us to end its usage, it has to be made so challenging to use that we turn to the alternatives. The transition is many more years but it is definitely going out the door. That is the good news.

Is there good news in all this negative, scary stuff? You bet there is. We are in this great Renaissance that began over 200 years ago. This is what it looks like as countries change and awareness and consciousness awakens. America was and remains the catalyst. We have to clean up our own act and look within to see what we have created. That is not fun. In our haste to be prosperous, we have created some nasty habits. They are now being corrected and that is not pleasant.

If you can commit to really conserving now in all areas of your life, it will be so less stressful. The universe is abundant but it also has limits and laws. Otherwise, trees would keep growing and we would never see the tops. Nature loves order and it will do what it takes to maintain it.

I get, from time to time, these emails of catastrophe and other fear-mongering stuff. I don't know why so many people love to scare themselves. It reminds me of all the Y2K scare when we were about to turn into the year 2000. The world was going to stop and, oh my, the sky fall. The world didn't stop and neither will we now. The next big scare on the internet is 2012. Fear sells — as well as lots of books. Be discerning, be discerning and think for yourself. Mother Earth will be here long after we are gone. If necessary, she will get rid of her drones and always has.

Go out and have some fun. Laugh, see a movie, share time with friends, be easy on yourself and trust yourself to be able to handle anything that comes your way. You are entrusted with the ability to create. Make it fun.
