Dear Friend,

What a great time of year. It's full of potential and expectation of those long sunlit days of summer. I love April. The snows are usually behind us-for the most part-and we know that we become lighter and happier at this time of year.

One of the events that happen during the spring of the year is the change within your body. Did you know that the liver naturally discharges in the spring? This is the reason we usually start to feel lighter (also less angry as it is said that the liver holds the anger of the person). If you were ever considering a detoxification of your body, this is the time of year to do it. It will be easier than at other times. The liver is a major organ of the body that works overtime to keep you internally cleansed of pollutions, drugs etc. A liver cleanse can also make your skin feel wonderful. Take good care of your liver.

As we enter this fourth month of the year, we unconsciously focus on the number four and what it represents. The four vibration concerns itself with work, order, structure, discipline and productivity. This is the month for the "spring" cleaning, finishing up your taxes, getting the soil ready for planting. It's a great month to accomplish. This is not only an outside job in your home and personal responsibilities but also within the body. It is an important clean up month overall. Four is a period of preparation before one goes out. You hear it often said in Biblical terms that it rained 40 days, 40 nights and they wandered in the desert for 40 years. Again in reference to the number four, a period of preparation and strengthening before one goes out. This is your month to prepare yourself internally and externally for the rest of the year. We have 30 days to get it done. You will feel lighter as the month goes on. Drink lots of water and get more rest as the liver dumps its excess. The body is a great healer of itself if we will allow it.

I have been stepping out more in the public arenas with talks and interviews and I am definitely noticing certain qualities of the collective consciousness.

People are hungering for sincerity and solidness. I believe there is a groundswell change afoot. When I spoke recently of the Ken Period (from the I Ching) that began three years ago in 2004, I commented that the old Tui Period from 1984 to 2004 was over and with it also the age of quick fixes, talking heads and gurus. The lack of accountability in many of the teachers out there teaching will not sustain itself during the Ken Period. Ken Period (2004 -20024) wants solid, substantial, practical and spiritual teachings that are much deeper than pop, surface "feel good" stuff. We can still go off and try to be a shaman in 12 steps or less but it won't last. What will last now is the deeper work one does with oneself. It cannot be entertained away as it has over the last Tui Period. Incidentally the word Tui is represented by the "mouth" - lots of talkers out there - and the word Ken is represented by the "mountain" - immovable principles.

You will begin to see new leaders who are not as slick as the past group and you will see a fading out of the old idols of the last 20 years. Incidentally, the emphasis until 2024 will be directed more to health and relationship and less on money and wealth.

NOW — FOR THE CANDIDATE OF THE MONTH

Each month I said I would focus on a presidential candidate so that you could get an inner picture of the personality of the month. Enter Republican candidate Rudolph Giuliani.

Rudolph William Louis Giuliani III was born on May 28, 1944

Right off the bat, this man has some of the same (but different) qualities of George Bush. He has a predominance of the number "6". His life path (from his date of birth) is a six and so is his destiny number (from his name) - identical situation to Bush. All "6's" are imbued with the same qualities. It is just the degree of that quality. In Rudy's case, he has a lot of "6".

Six is always the number of the teacher and the counselor - sometimes the artist and musician as well. The behavior of someone who has an excessive amount of the number six is that they believe they know what is best for others or an individual. They are all about "causes". They have their causes and they expect to lead from their cause--whatever their cause may be. They can be extremely helpful but going to the extreme, they can be difficult because they think they always know what is best.

Rudy has a number one personality so he likes to be in charge and start the project. Unfortunately for Rudy, he is missing the number two. This is a big problem, especially because the number is all about partnership, cooperation, compromise, interdependency and above all else PATIENCE. I would bet that this has been a big problem for him in all of his relationships. He has a very hard time seeing the other person's point of view. Not sure how this would fit in the role of negotiating with other leaders.

Deep in his heart, Rudy loves to be free and can be lots of fun. He really loves change and has spent other lives being just that. Part of me wonders why he would want the position of President as it will limit his mobility. I sense the underlying reason is his deep love of the limelight. He loves the Hollywood stuff. Cameras, lights and action. He is also in a freedom loving time in his chart. He wants to be free. I don't really think he wants the Presidency as much as he wants the star quality stuff.

A deep issue for Rudy is his fear of looking stupid - he doesn't want to appear as if he doesn't know his material. This could be a challenge as he may stay in safe areas of information and not venture into areas that are important but that he knows little. I would say his race is probably done for reasons other than becoming President. My sense is perhaps a position within an administration where he can travel, be free, be in the limelight and promote his cause.
