1) The 3rd month of the year

Dear Reader,

Hello springtime and a gradual goodbye to winter. I am writing this today at the end of February on a gorgeous 85 plus degree day in Los Angeles. The stuff of tourist attractions. This is to make up for all the wet weather we have had (and needed) lately. You feel even more of spring fever when you realize that in 2008 Daylight Savings begins a few weeks early. Gratitude is definitely in order.

Well March, the 3rd month, ushers in all kinds of ideas. In the beginning of the month we have the "Ides of March", or the 15th of the month. This date is famous for the day that Julius Caesar was murdered in 44 BCE. If anyone says to you "beware of the Ides of March" you know what it means. Actually, the Roman calendar used the term ides to represent the 15th of the months of March, May, July and October. The 13th day of the month was used for the other 8 months (the Roman calendar had 13 months). We then celebrate St Patrick's Day on the 17th day and in 2008 we celebrate Easter on the 23rd.

It is a busy month in a very busy 2008 "one" year in Numerology. You should feel about now that someone has ratcheted up the switch. March will fly by. The two eclipses we had in February have affected us all. For some what might have taken another year to launch will be condensed down to a month. Can you scrap some of your old plans and be ready to move out now? This is how it will feel to many of you. No time to waste. For many of us, we cannot go back to how things were even in January. February was a very challenging month.

This 3rd month is the first born of the numbers one and two. It is the leap forward you have been waiting for since December. Ready, get set, go. Another way to say it is one, two, three go. Three cheers, three little kittens, three blind mice, Goldilocks and the three bears, three little pigs, three on a match, third time is a charm, things come in threes and of course, good, better, best. Three is the balance between opposing forces. This month should give you the balance, consistency and words to help you shape your thoughts and carry out your plans. Do not wait for someone else's approval. Move forward from this strong triangular base. Three is the result of the union of one and two and it wants to give you the confidence to pursue.

2) View From the Freeway

The headlines are big and bold and eye catching. Where are the simple truths? Where is your peace that passes understanding? What are you doing to enhance your life and enrich it with peace? America is craving for some sort of change that will put her back on the road to sanity and her true purpose in the world family.

Guess what, she is about to get back on the road. It is the getting there that makes it interesting or some might call it challenging. Others might call it frustrating and downright scary. When we operate only from the world of appearances, it is very easy to succumb to the hype of headlines, sound bites and falling home prices. I urge you to read information that comes from outside of the United States to get a more balanced view of events. I always recommend "The Economist" as a basic primer for those who want to acquire a broader and more global picture of current events. An interesting sidebar is that only about 25% of Americans own passports. That means roughly 75% of us have never left North America. This is an improvement over the last several years. In 2001, only 15% of Americans owned passports.

America is about to revisit her past. Our current times will take us back to 1776 when we began as a nation. How far have we come and how close do we resemble the original purpose of the founding of this country? To the degree that we have gotten away from our original purpose will be the same degree returning to it. In other words, expect some big changes over the next 15 to 20 years. That is about how long it will take to make the corrections. We are talking of about 2024 or 2025.

We are about to learn how to "share" power with China, Russia and India. We are about to grow up on how we handle our money, our social contract with the people and all kinds of side areas. There will be lots of exposure coming down the road over the next several years. Nothing like the light of day to see where the dirt is.

All along we have been working under the rule of Universal Laws but have operated as if only Man Made Laws counted. We will begin to see the Universal Laws trump Man Made (which means always changing) laws. I highly recommend the book "Working with the Laws" to get a deeper understanding of the system we have always been working under. This is not a religious phenomenon. In fact, yesterday's headlines reflect the state of consciousness in America. Not only is negative, fearful news selling well but also "Americans loosening their church loyalties" LA Times, Feb. 26th and "A fluid religious Life is seen in US, with switches common" NY Times, Feb. 26th are both front page headlines in our newspapers. We are beginning an enormous but necessary change in the way we conduct our thought patterns and our lives. The entire religious movement of this country is being changed as we entire this Age of Aquarius, Age of Enlightenment and a closing of an old world order.

If one looks back on history, at all times when Great Ages have changed, there has been chaos and its' twin brother fear. We are in the midst of a Great Age change. As a species we are evolving and moving higher in development. Even our jaws are smaller in size and our skulls thinner in bone structure. We destroy each other less in wars and we are gaining in social skills. Read the book "Before the Dawn" by Nicholas Wade to give you encouragement.

Stop scaring yourself. You have been created to experience this great space called Earth. Remember who you are and what you are part of. This is good stuff. You will never die. Yes, your body will dry up and be removed but you won't. You will go on to other realms and other experiences. Enjoy this place while you are here. None of us is here that long. We are all connected and that includes our enemies. It is our time to set an example for others, to be the standard bearers, to be the beacon on the hill and to express the Divine through each of us. Simplify your lives, restore your own power and let intuition, experience and study guide you.

Without understanding how they function and their "silent" effects on your life, you do yourself a disservice. The universe is in a perfect state of order. So, now getting back to St, Patrick's Day; being a good Irish girl that I am, from County Clare, I wish you an Irish toast for this month. I also promise to do an in depth report on the final candidates. Their Astrological and Numerological charts give them away. I won't give them away though until we have final candidates. I would suggest you 'READ' their speeches instead of listening to them and see how strong they are or not when you read the speech rather than hear it. Look for specifics and substance. What is missing?

May the roof above us never fall in and may we friends gathered below never fall out.
