1) June is Busting Out All Over

"Six of one, half a dozen of the other" so goes the old expression. What in heaven's name does that have to do with anything? Multiples of 6 (June is the 6th month) - such as 12, 24, 36 and 60 - provide a natural framework in our everyday affairs. We have 12 months, 24 hours, 12 zodiac signs, 12 tribes in Biblical terms and many other examples of the multiples of 6. Six represents for us the energy of "structure-function-order" (Michael Schneider in his book "A Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe". When we think of the structure of something, we then follow its' function resulting in a certain order from that function. How something is structured, be it a relationship, a building, a job, will have you functioning in a certain way resulting in a certain order. This is unconsciously operating in everything in nature.

Arriving in the 6th month of the year gives us the opportunity to think consciously about the structure we are creating for ourselves. Remember that the number 6 is also the number of love, sex (even sounds very close to the word six), divorce and family. This is a time of marriage and graduation. What type of structure are you giving to your new life? Do you need to "restructure" it? Remember from the structure will come the functions that create your outcomes. Most of us continue to operate without a mind to the structure you have created. It will continue to function and deliver a type of order whether you like it or not. The only way to change it, is to change its' structure. June gives us this reminder. It also happens to fall in the middle of the 12 month period.

June is also experiencing a "Mercury Retrograde" until June 20th. I urge you to continue to double check your messages, try not to interview for new jobs, sign contracts, initiate travel arrangements for later travel during this timeframe. This time period can best be seen as an opportunity to go back over areas that have gone begging. These could be messy file cabinets, projects that need completion, old friends you need to contact, old contracts that could be renewed. In general, relax into and finish up chores that have already started over the last several months or years.

2) View from the Freeway

So, are you maintaining a peaceful countenance and sense of humor while gas prices rise and house prices plunge? It is not such a funny period and many people sense and smell that something is off all the way around. Is it inflation on the horizon, are we in a recession, (is that really a question?), will we have a democrat or republican in the white house? It does have almost a "soap opera quality" to it if it wasn't so visceral and tangible. There is quite a bit of hype and negative drum beating but there is also genuine concern. Did we all stay at the party too long?

There are many reasons for our current conditions and too numerous-to mention books in print to help explain it. The bottom line is always the bottom line. "The truth of you is not influenced by falling house prices or rising gas prices". The truth of you is as brilliant as a star, part of the Divine Creation, an ever-lasting Soul, who can't be re-financed, dieted, disease ridden, aged or alzheimered out of here. You will leave here when the Soul decides to and you will take with you only what you learned. This is a moment in time when it is wise and appropriate to center oneself and put one's human life in order so that peace can be restored.

Our entire human population is moving itself forward, socializing itself and discovering the connectedness of us all. We can survive these trends, we can return to an order in our lives that is more genuine and simple. And we can decrease our self-deception that has hampered our inner peace and serenity. Nobody, but nobody can take away your peace and center unless you let them.

Last month I focused on getting more sleep. I continue to beat this drum of getting more rest, turning off stimulating reading and television at least an hour before sleeping and providing a supportive structure for yourself that nourishes you. You are in control of your body. A good's night sleep and deep breathing will beat any old trip to the spa, a face life, botox or a new outfit.

I have been traveling quite a bit in Southern California over the last 2 months, speaking in homes, churches and organizations regarding the New World Renaissance and how it is affecting our lives. I realized that this subject needs a bigger platform to present more information than what can be said in a brief lecture. I, therefore, have scheduled an all-day intensive on this important subject. The date is Saturday, July 19th, from 9 to 5 at the Marriott Hotel, Manhattan Beach, just south of Los Angeles airport. My intention is to address the vast social changes, the economic changes and provide practical and timely ways to respond to the uncertainties of today. This includes the financial upheavals and the societal conditions that are part of our every day activities. Current events may seem more frightening than ever but times of change are times of great opportunity.
