June and the No. 6

I am so glad that May has passed. What a month!!!!!! The retrograde was quite remarkable. If you moved during the month or tried to complete contracts during the month, I am sure you know of the challenges I am speaking about. We have another Mercury Retrograde beginning on Labor Day this year so please be aware and get busy during these next 90 days so you can coast during the month of September.

June can be a really wonderful month. I like the No. six and the sixth month of the year. It is the month of marriage, family changes, graduations and activities related to love and family. This is the busiest month for marriages and six is the number of love and marriage. The Latin word for six is "sex". "Six" and "sex" are very close in sound and the sixth month is very involved with the energy of "sex" and procreation. In the journey of numbers one through ten, sixth is past the half point. It is represented by the geometric hexagon (six-sided).

Designers need not know anything about the mathematics of the hexagon to know that it works. It is used all the time in packaging and underlies the efficient structure-function and order. Since nature travels efficiently, you will see the number six, represented by the hexagon, recurring endlessly. Michael Schneider in his wonderful book "A Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe" tells us that individual cells join in a hexagonal pattern, the skin of a reptile, scales on a fish, the chain-mail net of knights' armor, the six legs of an insect, the inside of a slice of carrot, green pepper and other fruits and vegetables all reveal the hexagon.

How can we best use the energy of this sixth month? Focus on educational activities, domestic and community matters and health concerns. (The number six always has a healing and health component to it.) It is a favorable month for solving problems, establishing more balanced relationships and purchases for the home and family. It is a great month for decorating activities.

How did I get my birth name?

Answer

You chose it before birth. When a Soul is in the process of reincarnating, it will set itself up with a blueprint for that particular incarnation or life. We can also call it a plan. This blueprint is composed of mathematical sound energy. We actually can hear mathematics and numbers through sound. This blueprint of sounds and energy is then presented in the form of numerics. The blueprint for a person's life is masked behind the birth name. This name is given by you to your parents at an unconscious level. They, in turn, give that to you consciously as your birth name. You are "called".

Remember when you take a full birth name apart, such as all the letters or characters of that name, you will discover numbers or number combinations behind each letter or character. The numbers mask sounds and energy. For instance the letter A is the first letter of the alphabet or the number one. There are actually four sounds to the word "one".

Once you arrive here on the earth plane and have been given your birth name, you can call yourself another name. It is fine. Many people do not like their birth names only to find out later in their adult lives that they want to begin to use it. They have grown into their names (blueprint). You never can lose the original birth name. It is always active in your life. It reveals your destiny, your personality, your Soul inheritance as well as your talents and your karmic challenges. Your life is revealed in your name.

The last of the Four Books of Confucius takes its name from the influential philosopher Men Tzu who wrote "People are in the habit of speaking of the world, the state. As a matter of fact, the foundation of the world lies in the state, the foundation of the state lies in the family, and the foundation of the family lies in the individual." In simple terms, each of us is "world" or the state. What we do now and in the future dictates how the world or state exists. "The root of social transformation is Self-Transformation." We have no place to look but at ourselves, and how we think and act, to see the state or the world.

At this time of our country's existence, we only have to look at ourselves to see the future. What are you thinking now with all of this coming and going on in your lives? What type of future do you want? What are you doing about it for yourself? We cannot change if we are not willing to give up something for it in return. Remember the art of staying young or youthful is a lowered resistance to starting over.

A few points to remember during this important time of transformation.

What you do personally and what you believe are critically important and make a difference.
You can start over. People do it all the time.
Create a support base for yourself. Surround yourself with quality, self-aware Souls. Allow hanger-on's to find someone else to hang on to. This is especially important if you have created co-dependent relationships in your life.
Stop moaning and complaining about the government, your banker, your lover, your job loss, your health or the lack of thinking in the general population. Think for yourself, consult yourself, ask yourself questions, be intelligent, act intelligently, shut up, stop apologizing for yourself and get real.
End self-deception and illusions in your life. Take off the foggy glasses and see "it" for what it is, who it is and how it is. Decide for yourself, what you need to do to change the situation or leave the situation. It will always begin with your perspective on the situation.
Remember with 10% unemployment, 90% are employed. With 15% unemployment, 85% are employed. Focus on the 85% and 90%.
Get excited again about yourself and your life. Do whatever it takes to get well and make it your priority. You come before anybody else in your life. Without you being healthy and mindful, you cannot serve well any one else.
Remember, miracles are created when it looks like a disaster. Do as much as you can about a situation and then let go. Keep turning it over. I can tell you so many miracles have happened in my life when I let go and did everything I could about a condition. Miracles even happen when I am not even working on them. I have found money, literally in trash heaps, got bumped up to first class when I thought I missed the plane, had a large institutional bank send me back my note marked paid in full when I had not - you get the picture. I can remember when a very destitute friend bought a small box of envelopes from Walgreen's. In the last envelope in the back of the box was $500. The closest thing we could figure out - since we crave resolution - was that someone had returned the box of envelopes and forgot they had put $500 in the last envelope.
Your good is not dependent upon the government. Thank goodness. It is only one source.
Remember, we got into this mess because we forgot who we are and what we are capable of being.

I keep singing the same tune, 16 years. The remake of the government, our financial structure and our social structure is 16 years. There is so much to clean up and redo. It is way beyond the time of Obama. He is just the beginning. It is very important to get involved by being mindful and watchful of what you are being told. Call those in power accountable. They are accountable to each one of us. (That includes President Obama) We have the hire and fire power and yet we act defenseless. The British statesman named Edmund Burke wrote back in the 18th century "It is by lying dormant a long time, or being at first very rarely exercised, that arbitrary power steals upon a people." He goes on to warn against creating a situation where "any one description of citizens should be brought to regard any of the others as their proper prey." My oh my, a shiver for sure!

I am very "bullish" on our life and times and grateful that we are simplifying. Even in Los Angeles, we started our water rationing on June 1st. We become mindful of wasting water in small ways as we are doing in so many areas of our lives.

It really is true to "waste not, want not". I think we all need to exhale and take care of what is urgent and important rather than what is urgent but not important. There is a difference. As I view it from the freeway, we are going to be fine. We owe it to this great country to take good care of our citizens. We are in this together. Remember the old Chinese proverb "All the universe is an inn; search not specially for a retreat of peace: all the people are your relatives; expect, therefore, troubles from them."
