The Meaning of the 11th Month - November

The number 11 in numerology is always considered to be "the light". If you were to take the word light and add a number to each letter from the alphabet (i.e. the letter "L" being 12 and the letter "I" being a 9), you would learn that the numbers behind the word "light" reduce to the number 11. This is a powerful number and considered to be a Master Number. November carries within it this powerful vibration. This is the month to be inspired, to be the light, to be the peacekeeper and to be at peace.

The year is closing down now. These ending months are not the time of new beginnings. It is the time to consider what needs to complete so that you can go within as the days become shorter in the Western Hemisphere. If you are considering launching a new business or project, the energy is not supporting the endeavor as much as it will in the spring. The cycle is such that you plant and introduce in the spring, work really hard through the growing season of the summer and wind it down in the fall and winter.

Having said this, enjoy the days now. They are inviting you to slow down and be patient. Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. There is a wonderful light vibration about November, lean into it.

Why would one choose to reincarnate?

There are many reasons one would choose to return to this experience. Our numerology blueprints tell a great deal about the reasons and choice. Overall for each of us, we have chosen to come to the earth plane to work with two specific energies. They are: 1) to work through exercising your free will and 2) to work with emotional energy. We are not all born equal in body or mind but we have the ability to choose how we will think. This is where our freedom lies-how we think. Our experiences constantly provide us with opportunities to exercise free will in the thinking process. We could be imprisoned but yet how we think about it day in and day out will be our choice.

With regards to "emotional" energy, all experiences here have an emotional charge to them. You get a pay raise, you are happy and elated. You get let go, you are unhappy and deflated. You win money, you are thrilled. You fall in love, you are in bliss. You are jilted, you are depressed. On and on it goes. You get the opportunity to decide how you will emotionally respond to what is going on around you.

What a hothouse of experiences. Earth is a wonderful place to learn these two lessons and master your thinking and your emotions. People stay stuck in both areas. That is why the lessons are repeated over and over. The only person who can free you in both areas is you. Remember you chose to come here to learn and to serve. All those who are here on earth are learning these two lessons and know that Earth is one of the best places to accelerate growth in these two areas.

There are other numerous reasons to reincarnate but they are very specific to individual conditions. A child could be born and live only a few days, months or years. In some of these situations there is a karmic condition with the parents that is being worked out. There are just so many situations. We don't have access to prior information about an individual's life so we do not know why something is happening now that seems so be unfair or cruel. Each person has her own set of circumstances.

We are learning to understand our time here is not that long and we want to grow as much as we can while we have this golden opportunity. It is a privilege to reincarnate to Earth and those who get here to the United States, by natural birth, by plane, by boat or over the border have tremendous opportunity to exercise free will. The United States was founded on the lesson of freedom and free will of the individual. It is in a unique position to assist others in their development. Those who are born into war-torn countries, famine and short life spans may have chosen to be here a short stay. We never know the full story of a person's reincarnation.

Are you beginning to see the limits and the contractions? We are definitely in the transformation of how we do business and how we live our lives. History books will write about this period as the time before 2008 and life after that period. It is similar to the times when you never had homeland security at the airport and you could just walk up to the plane with your loved ones and say goodbye. We aren't returning to that period, probably not in our lifetimes.

This is such a makeover time. So many things are not gong to return to the way they were. That is very good in many areas. We really don't need the big McMansion houses, Hummer autos or large restaurant portions-not if we want to be healthy. We will not be returning to the big manufacturing base as before. Nor will we be doing our finances as before. America will be prosperous again but first it must go through this pressure cooker sensation. I have said it will last for many years, well into the mid 2020's.

As you see now, we are being asked to turn to ourselves for our support and to support one another. One of the biggest trends you will see over the next generation is the steady rise in volunteerism. Our economy depends upon and many of societal needs are met by volunteers rather than paid workers. I would expect this to continue and eventually be taken notice of by the government (who cannot fulfill its social contract) and supported more in government and corporate budgets. We have hospice, foster care advocates, meals on wheels, beautification programs, after school programs, soup kitchens, teen programs, battered women shelters and on and on. With more people out of work, more volunteer positions will be filled. People are binding together to help each other with job searches, child care, pre-schools run and taught by parents and fund raising. This is all going to expand as this jobless recovery takes hold.

I would urge all of you to choose a cause or a special interest where you can volunteer your time. We who live in America and have reincarnated to this place are setting a standard for others to follow. Everything America does is exported to the world. Whether it is Coke, Colonel Sanders, jeans or Starbucks, we are the hothouse for the human experience. Our latest export will be "volunteerism". As we do more of it and others see us do more of it, this will be a natural export to other governments and societies.

We may not be a "village" but we definitely are a tribe. Because we are more "individualized" than in other parts of the world, we depend even more on the kindness of strangers, the intern at the office, those who read for the blind, those who train dogs for the shut-ins, the kids' coaches, the visitors to the nursing homes, the Christmas carolers, and the Home for the Habitat.

Although these are some of the most challenging times for Americans, do not forget how helpful you can be to someone else. You may be unemployed and worrying about how you are going to pay for anything but you can still enter the volunteer stream and be needed and be blessed. In that stream you will make the contacts, you will be under grace and you will be restored. Miracles can happen when we get out of fear, out of worry and self-imposed suffering.

I write this not to diminish the situation for any of us. At the current writing I have three vacant properties I am supposed to keep paying on and maintaining. It is extreme pressure but I have done all I can do with them and I continue to get informed about my options. I choose to focus on solutions-I already know what the problems are. I also know that this will pass. The Bible tells you "it came to pass". So it will. I will project that 2010 will be a very challenging year for us but that 2011 will begin to see the positive changes. They will be slow and the period of economic and financial exposure (there is much more to come) takes times to change. 2012 will be a little bit better and so it goes through this period which ends about 2024. I think you will see a more resolute president next year. Neither side will be too happy as I believe he will exhibit. a more centrist view. It is another opportunity for you to get involved in improving our government.

In the scheme of things, the sun keeps shining and the seasons keep doing their thing. We are tied to the unseen world from which we reincarnated. As we go through the fears and cheers here, remember to keep it all in perspective. We are not here to suffer, no are we here to make anyone else suffer. We are here to grow, to experience free will choice, to work with emotional energy, to laugh, to learn to be kind, to be forgiving, to be patient, to be true, to extinguish our self-deceptions and to know that life itself is the gift. You are more than your job, your house, your foreclosure, your credit score, your weight, your limits and your riches. You are an expression of the divine who was brave and generous to come back here to help the rest of us. To all of you I say thank you. You are the light of the world.
