March and the No. 3
I always like March. The weather in the Northern Hemisphere is stating to improve. Winter storms melt sooner and the days are longer. We are going to begin Daylight Savings soon and we can have more sunlight when we drive home from work. March is the month of creativity, expansion and joy. This is the month when you begin to experience that unusually warm day and those who live in cold climates run outside to walk without jackets. By the time we are through with this month - coming in like a lion and leaving like a lamb - we are on our way to putting plans in place for the remainder of the year.
The No. 3 is considered the number of "joy" in numerology. It is represented by the color yellow and has a sunny, uplifting disposition. That is what this month is intended to do; lift us up and out. It is also to remember the dark days of winter are over and we can begin to lighten our mental load - eat fewer carbohydrates as well. Get moving, expand, travel and express. Meet new people, socialize and change your appearance.
Remember the No. 3 is the result of the merging of No. 1 and 2. They have created a "third". Remember the expression of the "3 wise men", "3 strikes and you are out", "3's a crowd", "1, 2, 3 GO"; The No. 3 gives expression to past limits of the No. 1 and 2. Three becomes one from the merging. Remember "all good things come in threes". Happy March. It's a great month. Use every day wisely, be joyful and expand.
View from the Freeway
"All things are full of signs, and it is a wise man who can learn about one thing from another" - Plotinus (205-270, Roman Neoplatonic philosopher).
Isn't that a great quote? If only we could really understand that we can learn about one thing from the other. The world has always been full of signs and symbols but we have forgotten the language. Without a remembrance of the greatness of our origin, we can only quiver in the face of seemingly dire headlines and gossip. My gawd! Chicken Little, the sky is falling. Get into one of those vacant houses quickly.
The headlines are scary, the unemployment lines look eerily like the Great Depression, many retirement funds are busted - and so are the dreams of retirement, the stores are closing, the bankers are exposed and more than one or two people are gnashing their teeth. What a sight. What do we do? When will it get better? How can we make this go away as quickly as possible?
We are in the beginning stages of the 'CURE'. Do you remember when you were growing up you heard that the cure was worse than the disease? Guess what, there was some truth to it. I have been saying for the past 18 months; prepare yourself for a three-year period of limits, restrictions and discipline. It seems like a bad dream. It isn't a dream. We are in the BEGINNING phase of the cure.
First we had to get sick. We have been in that state for a long time. You can compare it to the patient who goes to the physician for a check up and finds out that she has some very serious disease that she wasn't aware of. It has been affecting all her major organs but only recently it began to show symptoms. What to do? Take the CURE.
Actually, we have been waiting for this period to arrive for about 240 years. We have needed a modification and check up for a lifestyle that no longer authentically supported us. Remember, we are not killing the patient, we are CURING the disease. How long will this take from start to finish? I estimate 15 years. As in any cure, the beginning stages can be pretty traumatic. As the body gets rid of its toxicity, we will find ourselves feeling better and thinking differently. DO NOT MISTAKE THE CURE FOR THE DISEASE.
As I have mentioned in my DVD, "New World Renaissance", this is part of a much bigger plan to refine what we created 240 years ago at the birth of this country. This is the first time we have really taken refinement seriously. DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED. We will be fine, we are in pain and that is to be expected. As we live through this beginning phase, here are some things worth remembering:
There is some sense of relief during this initial period of the CURE. We can now say to others "I am paying off debt" and feel like that is something we can safely say. We no longer feel that we have to compete and keep up the good image. We can exhale and somehow surrender to a larger force that created us from its Divine essence. We can remember our true greatness was always in being born into this incarnation. It was never in material success or being thin. We are brave, strong, kind and connected. We forgot our origin and we are remembering. It is in this remembrance that we can be free and transcend the seemingly endless array of challenges. From the ancient "Upanishads" it is stated the that "The Tree of Eternity has its roots in heaven above and its branches reach down to earth. It is Brahman, pure Spirit, who in truth is called the Immortal. All the worlds rest on that Spirit and beyond him, no one can go."
Until next month,
Keep trusting yourself,
Gail
